Here are pages 2 and 3 of my poetry journal. I have only been able to get this far but I will get back to it as soon as I can relocate my journal which I seem to have misplaced. Whoops! Hopefully more will follow soon…contingent on me finding it. Enjoy!

What better way to start the year than to experiment and sketch with colour pencils? I usually just use a lead pencil to draw/sketch but since my sister gave me a brand new set of colour pencils, I decided to put my drawing/sketching skills to the test. I’m absolutely loving it so far!

Weekly Photo Challenge: New
I went on a vacation with the family this summer and sat on a plane for the first time in 14 years. It was a pretty amazing holiday and we visited four countries in just over a month.
To mark the countries that my sister visits, she purchases a flag from each one. I derived the idea from there and in remembrance of my holiday, decided to paint the flags of the countries that I visited.
I count five because I also painted the flag of the country I live in, which lies in the middle.
Started painting random things again. I got a bunch of postcards from Paris when I was there in September and these postcards had abstract cats on them. I love silhouette art so I decided to do some cat art based on those postcards.
